2013-14 (Freshman): Placed fourth in the 200 BR (2:30.00) against Purdue (1/4/14)...finished fifth in the 100 BR (1:08.92) vs. Minnesota (1/11/14)...had three top 10 finishes at the Cal Poly/UCSB tri-meet which included eighth in the 100 BR (1:08.19)...swam a career-fastest 1:07.38 in the 100 BR at the Arena Invitational (11/21/13).

Prep/Club: A 2013 graduate of Sprague High School in Salem, Ore...lettered four seasons in swimming...won the 2011 state title in the 1650-meter...was a two-time conference champion in the 100 breaststroke and 200 free...named all-Mid Valley in 2012 and '13 and earned the school sportsmanship award three times...was named her school's 2013 Athlete of the Year...was also a Top 10 conference all-academic selection...swam for the Northwest Aquatics swim club.

Personal: Born in Salem, Ore...intends to major in kinesiology...has one sister, Emily...parents are Mike and Cyndi Mathews of Salem, Ore.
