2013-14 (Freshman): Placed fifth (5:27.16) in the 500 free and sixth in the 1000 free (11:11.90) against Purdue (1/4/14)...was third in the 400 IM (4:49.74) versus Minnesota (1/11/14).

Prep/Club: A 2013 graduate of Grossmont High School in La Mesa, Calif...lettered four seasons in swimming...won the league title in 2010 and '13...holds her high school record in the 500 free and 200 IM...also swam for the College Area Swim Team (CAST).

Personal: Born in San Diego, Calif...intends to major in nursing...has two sisters, Natalie and Narissa...parents are Phil and Kielly Tex of La Mesa, Calif.
