2013 (Cross Country):  Competed in three meets…finished among the team’s top five in one of those meets…ran a season-best 5k at the Big Wave Invitational (22:15.54)…also competed in the Bronco Invitational (25:48.3)…season-best 6k time of 28:31.4 at the Big West Championship.

2012 (Cross Country): Competed in two meets – BYU-Hawai‘i Invitational (22:27) and Chaminade Invitational (21:15.2).

Prep: A 2012 graduate of Corona Del Mar High School in Newport Beach, Calif…lettered all four years in both cross country and track and field…member of 2008 and 2009 Division III state championship team in cross country, section championship team in 2008 and runner-up in 2009…awarded most valuable distance runner for track team during junior year… also an AP Scholar.
 
Personal: Born in Boston, Mass…intends to major in travel industry management…has one brother…parents are Lou and Debbie Silverman of Newport Beach, Calif.
