Prep: A 2009 graduate of Cesis State Grammar School…helped Cesis State Grammar School to the national tournament title… a  member of the Latvian U20 national team…also played for SK Cesis in the Latvian Basketball League Second Division during the 2008-09 season…averaged 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in 22 games…earned player of the month honors twice and named league MVP.
