Prior To UH: Attended Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif., for two seasons…a first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore…averaged 19.8 points per game and led the team in rebounding (5.6 rpg) and three-pointers made (49)…shot 57.8 percent from the field, 81.4 percent from the free-throw line and 47.6 percent on three-pointers…led Mt. SAC to its first-ever state junior college men’s hoops title in 2012-13…in five playoff games, averaged 25.8 ppg, accounting for 31 percent of the Mounties total points during their title run...shot 60.5 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent from the three-point line...scored 32 points in the championship game against Chaffey College and was named the CCCAA State Tournament MVP… also named the CCCAA Student-Athlete of the in March after his torrid performance in the tournament…earned a team-best 3.58 GPA… team’s second-leading scorer as a freshman, averaging 12.8 ppg and adding 3.3 rpg...shot 49.4 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from three-point land and 77.8 percent from the free throw line…helped lead team to a conference championship.
 
Prep: A 2010 graduate of Palisades Charter High School in Palisade, Calif…named first-team all-city and first-team all-Western League after averaging 20.7 points per game as a senior…also added 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game…shots 49 percent from the floor, including 39 percent from beyond the arc…scored 30 or more points on three occasions, including a season-high 34 points in wins over Dorsey and Hamilton… graduated with honors…also an all-league pick as a junior.
