2004 (Cross Country): Finished 29th at BYU-Hawai`i Invitational (31:47)...also competed in Big Wave Invitational (18:05).

2004 (Track): Placed second in 100m hurdles (17.23) at UH Sunrise Meet 4 and third in 200m hurdles (31.18) at UH Sunrise Meet 1...finished fourth in 200m (28.89) at UH Sunrise Meet 6...also competed in the 400m (64.51) at the University of Washington Invitational (Indoor).

Prep: A 2002 graduate of Lahainaluna High School in Lahaina, Maui...event specialty area is hurdles...named MVP for both soccer and track...first place in 300m hurdles at the Maui Interscholastic League championships...placed second in 100m hurdles and third in high jump.

Personal: Born March 1, 1984, in Kona, Hawai`i...plans to major in athletic training...has three sisters - Kanoe, Shawna, and Kristin...parents are Debbie Bertelmann and Henry DeClue of Oceanview, Hawai`i.
