The third-ranked University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will open Big West Conference play against rival No. 2 Long Beach State for a two-match series Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 at LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid in Long Beach, Calif. The series pits the league's top two teams in the preseason coaches rankings, with the Beach predicted to finish first and the Rainbow Warriors second. LBSU is the league's defending regular season champion while UH is the defending tournament champion.
