IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West Conference announced its men's basketball all-conference selections Tuesday as picked by the league coaches with three Rainbow Warriors making the list.
Isaac Johnson was selected to the all-conference first team,
Dre Bullock gained a spot on the second team and
Hunter Erickson earned honorable mention.
The trio have been instrumental in leading UH to a resurgent season. The 'Bows went from ninth last year in the Big West to a win away from a 2025-26 regular-season title while also posting the program's third 20-win season in the last four years.
Johnson became the first Rainbow Warrior to earn first-team honors since Eddie Stansberry in the 2019-20 season. The transfer from American Fork, Utah made an instant impact while quickly becoming a fan favorite. He started the season by being named OUTRIGGER Rainbow Classic Most Outstanding Player and has maintained his stellar play as the team's top scorer (13.7 ppg), shot blocker (30) and free throw shooter (117-133, .880). He's done it all while averaging just 20.9 minutes played per game.
Bullock particularly has elevated his game during conference play. The native of Franklinton, N.C. led the team in scoring in Big West games averaging 14.1 ppg, while also averaging a team-best 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. The 6-6 guard scored 20 or more points six times this year, including five in league play. That included a 26-point explosion in a road win over Long Beach State and a 27-point masterpiece that was punctuated by his buzzer-beating three-pointer at Cal State Fullerton.
Erickson earned all-Big West honorable mention as one of the most versatile and valuable players on the team. After UH went down two point guards, the graduate transfer from Utah stepped in to facilitate the team with 4.1 assists per game which ranked fourth in the Big West. Erickson currently leads the team in three-pointers made (39) and minutes per game (30.1) while also chipping in 8.7 points per game. The 6-3 guard also provided the team with one of its most memorable moments in recent years with his game-winning jumper as time expired in a home win over rival UC Irvine.
Josiah Davis of CSUN took home Big West Player of the Year honors while Cal State Fullerton's Dedrique Taylor was tabbed as Coach of the Year.
UH is now getting ready for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Big West Championship, March 11-14, at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson. Nev. The No. 2 seed Rainbow Warriors earned a double-bye and will open in the tournament semifinals, March 13 at 8:30 p.m. PT/5:30 p.m. HT. UH will face either No. 3 Cal State Fullerton, No. 6 UC Davis or No. 7 UC Santa Barbara.
