Men's Basketball Announces 2026–27 Schedule And National Broadcast Package

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team announced its full 2026–27 schedule, featuring a 11-game nonconference slate with eight national television broadcasts during the program's inaugural Mountain West Conference season.

The Rainbow Warriors will play nine of their 11 nonconference games at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, starting Monday, Nov. 2 against Seattle. The 'Bows will face a RedHawk squad that has won 20 or more games in three of the last four seasons.

The home nonconference schedule once again features the 60th annual OUTRIGGER Rainbow Classic, the longest running tournament in the country. Hawai'i will host Bethesda, UT Arlington and Portland, Nov. 6, 8 and 9.

UH will have five other noncon opponents at home, highlighted by a Dec. 20 game against former Big West nemesis UC Irvine. UH defeated the Anteaters twice last year –  on a buzzer-beater last January in Honolulu and again in March's Big West Championship in Henderson, Nev.  First-time opponent Incarnate Word (Nov. 25), as well as Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 12), and Alabama State (Dec. 22) are also on the docket.

Away from Honolulu, UH will face Washington State on Nov. 18 in a neutral site contest at a location to be determined. In early December, the 'Bows head back to the mainland for road tests at WCC squads San Diego (Dec. 1) and Loyola Marymount (Dec. 4).

In Mountain West play, eight of Hawai'i's 18 conference matchups have been selected for national broadcast, split evenly with four games on FS1 and four on The CW. Due to national television selections, two game dates have been adjusted from the base schedule announced earlier this summer: UH's road contest at Nevada moves to Friday, Jan. 8 (FS1), and its home contest against Grand Canyon moves to Wednesday, March 3 (FS1).

The remaining national road slate includes trips to Grand Canyon (Jan. 20, The CW), UNLV (Jan. 23, FS1), Wyoming (Feb. 13, The CW), and New Mexico (Feb. 24, The CW). At home, the 'Bows will host national broadcasts against New Mexico (Jan. 26, FS1) and Nevada (Feb. 20, The CW) in addition to the March 3 game against Grand Canyon.

UH boasts 13 newcomers on this year's squad while guards Tanner Cuff and Isaiah Kerr return from last year's 24-win NCAA Tournament squad. Season tickets are now on sale may be purchased at etickethawaii.com or at the Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center box office (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).
