SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team will look to continue its climb in the Big West standings when the Rainbow Wahine wrap up their Central Coast road trip against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, Feb. 21 at The Thunderdome in Santa Barbara, Calif. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. Pacific Time (noon Hawai'i Time).
The Rainbow Wahine are coming off a
71-54 win at Cal Poly on Thursday and have won nine of their 10 games. UH enters Saturday's play sixth in the Big West standings a half-game behind UC Santa Barbara.

- With Thursday's win at Cal Poly, UH secured a berth in the eight-team field for the Credit Union 1 Big West Women's Basketball Championship set for March 11-14 in Henderson, Nev.
- Freshman guard Bailey Flavell continues to lead the team with 13.2 points per game and is on track to become the first freshman to lead the team in scoring since the 2010-11 season.
- Over the last three games, UH's frontcourt trio of seniors Saniyah Neverson and Imani Perez and sophomore Ritorya Tamilo are averaging a combined 36 points on 62.3% shooting from the field. Neverson is averaging 14.7 ppg (62.5% FGs) with Perez (50%) and Tamilo (76.9%) both at 10.7 ppg over that span.
- UH has 152 blocked shots this season, the second highest single-season total in program history. The 'Bows enter the game 11 blocks away from the UH record set in 2002-03 season.
- UH leads the Big West and ranks sixth in the nation with 6.1 blocks per game. UH's rate of blocked shots remains ahead of the program record of 5.6 set in the 2004-05 season.
- Senior forward Imani Perez continues to anchor the UH defense and ranks first in the Big West and 32nd nationally with 1.75 blocked shots per game.
- UH remains second in the Big West and ranks 19th nationally in field-goal percentage defense in holding opponents to 36.3% shooting.
