FULLERTON, Calif.—University of Hawai'i senior Izabella Martinez was voted to 2025 Big West Championship's all-tournament team on Sunday as voted on by the league's head coaches. In four games, Martinez led UH with a .500 batting average with team-highs of seven hits, two doubles and a .563 on-base percentage. Martinez also added a home run, four RBI, and recorded a .857 slugging percentage.

In the opening game vs. Long Beach State, Martinez went 4-for-5 at the plate with a home run and a two-run double to lead the Rainbow Wahine to a 10-8 win over Long Beach State. Against top-seeded Cal State Fullerton, Martinez was 1-for-3 on offense with two walks and two runs scored.  In the final two games against CSUN and UC Santa Barbara, Martinez managed to go 1-for-3 in both matchups. She hit safely in every game of the tournament.

Overall, the catcher from Garden Grove, Calif. finished her final season with a team-best .361 batting average. She finishes her senior campaign with a team-best 61 hits, 13 doubles, 33 walks. and an on-base percentage of .471. As UH's lead-off hitter in all 53 games this year, Martinez led the 'Bows with 14 multiple hit games and she reaching base safely in the oast 10-straight games. Martinez started every game at catcher this year and started her last 152-consecutive games dating back to her freshman season.
