At Hawai'i: 118-70, 4th season
Collegiate Record: 1,197-808-4, 38th season

SERIES VS. USC
USC leads, 30-26
Last Meeting: UH won 9-7 (Apr. 4, 2022)

DID YOU KNOW?
The Rainbow Warriors have enjoyed major success under head coach RICH HILL in the months of April and May, going 63-31 in the final two months of the season under his leadership. UH is 35-20 in April and 28-11 in May under Hill.

7-8-9 IS 'BOW WARRIOR TIME
Hawai'i has owned the late innings over the course of its 24-10 start, outscoring teams 83-48 from the seventh inning on. UH has been especially good in the ninth inning, currently holding a 28-6 advantage in the final frame. Additionally, the Rainbow Warriors are 16-0 when leading after the sixth inning and have won eight games when tied or trailing heading into the ninth inning, including a 4-0 mark when tied after eight.

TROPICAL SWARM
After leading the nation in ERA in 2024, the Rainbow Warrior pitching staff has again positioned themselves as one of the elite groups nationally. UH is 19th in ERA (3.94), seventh in BB allowed/9 innings (3.13) and 11th in WHIP (1.22). UH is also 14th in K/BB ratio (2.81) and 22nd in opponent batting average (.228). Liam O'Brien and Isaiah Magdaleno are each in the top five in a major pitching category, with O'Brien leading in hits allowed per nine innings (3.31) and opponent BA (.117) and Magdaleno third in K/BB ratio (10.00).

SHUN SO CLUTCH
Hawai'i second baseman Shunsuke Sakaino has delivered in some clutch moments all season. Sakaino has three go-ahead or game-tying hits in the ninth inning or later this year. He delivered a walk-off single in the ninth inning of a 7-6 win over Marshall on opening weekend and smacked a game-tying homer in the ninth inning of a 14-10 comeback win at CSUN on Mar. 30. Sakaino then hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the 10th inning of last Friday's 4-2 win at Cal Poly.

ROLL IT
Hawai'i is fifth nationally in double plays turned with 35 through the first nine weeks. The Rainbow Warriors have turned at least one double play in 23 of the 34 games, with multiple double plays in nine games. Of the 35 double plays, 22 have been inning-ending while 11 have been of the 6-4-3 variety and seven have gone 4-6-3.
