The University of Hawai'i women's golf team continues its spring schedule by competing in the MountainView Collegiate, Sunday, March 2 through Tuesday, March 4 at The Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
The 14-team field is co-hosted by Kansas State and Missouri and is celebrating its 26
th anniversary. Making up the rest of the field is Arizona, Cincinnati, Furman, Iowa, Marshall, Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, Oklahoma, TCU, Wichita State, and Wisconsin.
Teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. MT on Sunday and Monday and shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. MT on Tuesday. The par-72 course plays at 6,345 yards.
Hawai'i appeared in the tournament three previous times from 2002-04, with its best finish in its first appearance, tying for seventh at 626 when the tournament was only 36 holes.
Competing for the Rainbow Wahine are

Emiko Sverduk,
Kellie Yamane,
Sofina Firouzi, and
Varnika S. Achanta. Kraus was the team's top finisher in its last outing at the Alice and John Wallace Classic, where she tied for 27
th place at 6-over 219.
