HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's water polo fans can get an early preview of the 2026 Rainbow Wahine when the team holds the program's inaugural Green and White Scrimmage on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
The scrimmage is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and will offer an opportunity to catch the two-time defending Big West Champion and NCAA semifinalists in action prior to the 2026 season.

The Rainbow Wahine return 14 players from last year's team, which finished the 2025 season at 22-5 and ranked fourth in the final CWPA and ACWPC polls, and have added seven newcomers to the roster.
Among the returnees are 2025 ACWPC All-Americans
Daisy Logtens and
Ema Vernoux. Logtens, a two-time All-American Third Team honoree, is coming off another outstanding season where she posted 209 saves, a .482 save percentage, and a conference-best 9.10 goals-average against. She also earned All-Big West First Team recognition and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Big West Championship.
Vernoux made an immediate impact in her first season, and was named to the All-American honorable mention list. She led the team with 78 goals—the fourth highest single-season total in program history—along with 16 hat tricks and 98 points. Vernoux was also named Big West Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Big West First Team.

James Robinson looks to build on a stellar inaugural season as head coach. The Rainbow Wahine swept through the conference schedule to capture the Big West regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championship semifinals for a second consecutive year.
