HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team concluded the 2025 Hawai'i Fall Invitational on a rainy Sunday at the UH Tennis Complex. Matches were originally slated to start at 9:00 a.m. HT, but due to inclement weather, were stuck in a rain delay until commencing four hours later at 1:00 p.m. HT. The Rainbow Warriors were only able compete in singles against Air Force.

The Rainbow Warriors were dominant, winning five out of their seven matches against the Falcons. UH's Timothy Li edged out Air Forces's Jack Brown by a break in the first frame before coasting to victory in the second for a 7-5, 6-0 win>, Hawai'i freshman Adriano Dzhenev routed Air Force's Phillip Deaton in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. UH's Toa Maeda nearly blanketed Falcons' Matthew Staton, 6-0, 6-1, while Hikaru Takahashi took care of AF's Langdon Tingleaf, 6-2, 6-2. UH's Kosuke Nakanishi held off Falcon's AJ Moore, 6-3, 6-0. Tianhao Hou forced a tiebreak in the first set against Air Force's Alec Fritzinger but eventually fell in straight sets, 7-6 (8), 6-3 and UH's Ziwen Ju was in a tight match with the Falcons' Leaird Tyler leading through one set, 6-4, but the match was called due to inclement weather.

Sunday's matches wrapped up the fall competition for the Rainbow Warriors as they now look forward to their spring season which opens on January 7m 2026 against California at the UH Tennis Complex.
