The University of Hawai'i football team will head to the "Ninth Island" for a pivotal Mountain West match-up against UNLV, Saturday, Nov. 21 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. PT (5:30 p.m. HT) and the game will be televised nationally on FS1. The longtime rivals will play for the Island Showdown Trophy, which the Rebels currently own possession. The Rainbow Warriors (7-3, 4-2 MW) and Rebels (8-2, 4-2) are among a group of five teams tied for second in the MW standings at 4-2 behind league leader San Diego State (5-1).

GAME STORYLINES
- The teams are playing for the Island Showdown Trophy (nicknamed the Ninth Island Trophy), which was created in 2017. UNLV currently owns possession of the trophy having won the last two in the series, including last season's 29-27 win in Honolulu.
- The teams will meet for the 35th time in a series that began in 1969. UH leads the all-time series, 19-15, however UNLV holds an 11-6 advantage in games played in Las Vegas.
