HONOLULU — The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team continues its season-opening homestand by taking on Saint Martin's on Thursday, Nov. 13 at Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
Thursday's game comes nine days after a rotation replete with newcomers earned a 73-64 win over Portland State to tip off the 2025-26 campaign. The Rainbow Wahine will seek the program's first 2-0 start since the 2015-16 season against the Division II Saints of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

- Thursday's game will be the first meeting between the Hawai'i and Saint Martin's women's basketball programs.
- The Rainbow Wahine opened at home for the first time since 2020 in the Nov. 4 game against Portland State and won their season opener for the first time since 2019.
- UH improved to 28-24 all-time in season openers and 4-10 under head coach Laura Beeman.
- Of the 11 players who saw action against Portland State, nine were freshmen or sophomores.
- Freshman Bailey Flavell led UH with 14 points in her official collegiate debut and five 'Bows scored in double-figures against Portland State.
- Freshman Teyahna Bond joined Flavell in the starting backcourt and dished out five assists while scoring 11 points.
- In her return from a redshirt year, freshman Danijela Kujovic contributed 11 points, five rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals.
- Senior forward Saniyah Neverson, a transfer from Northern Arizona, scored 11 points in her UH debut.
- Freshman Kyra Webb scored 10 points and led UH with seven rebounds off the bench.
- The 'Bows will play their first seven games at home before embarking on their first road trip of the season for the Big West's Bold Week in early December.
- UH was voted first in the Big West Preseason Coaches Poll for the fourth consecutive season and rose five spots to No. 20 in this week's Collegeinsider.com Mid Major Top 25.
- The Rainbow Wahine feature 11 international student-athletes on their 15-player roster — six from Australia, three from New Zealand and one each from Canada and Italy.
THE MATCHUP
- Thursday's game will count toward UH's regular-season record and will be an exhibition for Saint Martin's.
- UH will face a Division II opponent in a regular-season contest for the first time since opening the truncated 2020-21 season against Hawai'i Pacific and Hawai'i Hilo.
- Thursday's game starts a three-game road trip for the Saints, who will also face Chaminade and HPU in the GNAC-PacWest Challenge during their stay on Oahu. UH raced past Chaminade and HPU in its exhibition slate leading into the season.
- Saint Martin's enters its road trip at 1-2 after opening the season in the Canadian Tipoff Classic. The Saints defeated Minot State 54-41 then fell to Parkside (66-47) and Colorado Mesa (65-40).
- Jada Travis scored a game-high 28 points on 11-for-24 shooting with six 3-pointers in the Saints' win over Minot State. Travis leads Saint Martin's with 12.0 points per game.
- Saint Martin's went 18-11 overall and 9-9 in GNAC play last season. The Saints were voted third in the GNAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Travis and senior guard Kiana Rios were named to the GNAC Preseason All-Conference Team.
- Saint Martin's has one player from Hawai'i on its roster in senior guard Lilly Koki (Papakolea, Maryknoll School).
