The Hawai'i women's cross country team continues its season when it heads to Salem, Ore. for the Charles Bowles Invitational Saturday.

The Rainbow Wahine will compete in the 5k meet hosted by Willamette that is set to start at 7:20 a.m. HT.

UH is coming off of a third-place finish in its first road meet of the season at The Master's University Invitational on Sept. 20. Led by two of the top three individual finishers,
Emilie Kirk Langschwager and
Zola O'Donnell paved the way, with the team finishing the meet with 92 points.

Kirk Langschwager placed second with a 6k time of 21:36.10 to give her a second consecutive top-three finish to start the season. O'Donnell followed close behind placing third with a time of 21:56.70.
Lucy Becker made top 20 with a 6k personal best of 22:45.70 to put her in 17th place overall.
Harriet Greentree competed in her first collegiate 6k race and finished 21st with a mark of 22:53.50, and
Bella De Freitas topped off the UH top five with a time of 23:53.00 to finish in 55th place.

Following this weekend's action, the Rainbow Wahine will then travel to Riverside, Calif. for the Highlander Invitational, Oct. 18.
