— The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team takes on the top team in the conference on the road when it faces UC Irvine on Saturday, Jan. 25. Tipoff is 7:00 p.m. PT/5:00 p.m. HT at the Bren Events Center.
Both the Rainbow Warriors (12-7, 4-4 Big West) and Anteaters (17-3, 7-1) are coming off of tight road losses on Thursday. The 'Bows fell at UC Davis, 68-66, while UCI suffered their first Big West setback with an 84-80 OT loss at UC Riverside.

GAME STORY LINES
- With its loss at UC Davis, the Rainbow Warriors fell into a three-way tie for sixth in the Big West standings.
- Despite its loss at UC Riverside, UCI remains in first in the Big West, a game ahead of UC San Diego.
- Junior forward Harry Rouhliadeff enjoyed a career night at UC Davis, tallying 21 points and seven rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench. All but four of his points came in the second half.
- Rouhliadeff became the fifth different UH player to score 20 or more in a game this year and the eighth different player to lead the team in scoring.
- UC Irvine leads the Big West and ranks in the top 25 nationally in scoring defense, FG% defense, FT percentage and FTs made per game.
- The Anteaters have won six of the last seven meetings in Irvine with UH's last win coming in 2018.
