Â

Â

He broke a 12-year-old national record in the event with a time of 1:57.13 at the Apollo Projects New Zealand Swimming Championships held in April in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Follows' UH career was highlighted by All-America honors in the 200-yard backstroke in 2019 and '20 and he remains the program's record holder in the event at 1:39.15.
Â
A year after a record-breaking season at UH, Transom earned a spot with New Zealand's Olympic contingent as part of the women's 4x200 freestyle relay team. She claimed the 100-meter freestyle title at the New Zealand championships with a time of 53.94 and earned silver in the 200-meter free to secure her spot on the Olympic team. Transom holds the UH records in the 50-yard freestyle (22.18), 100-yard free (47.39) and 100-yard backstroke (51.88). She was also an All-American in the 100 free.
Â

th Oceania Championships held in April in Australia with a personal-best of 1:04.64. He also won gold in the 50-meter breast in the meet.
Â
