Box Score LOS ANGELES, Calif.--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team battled ninth-ranked Southern California, but the Trojans swept the Rainbow Wahine, 4-0 on Sunday night at the David X. Marks Tennis Stadium. Due to lightning and rain, the match started about three hours late with singles matches played first.

Sheena Masuda got off to a rough start in the first set but fell by just a break in the second set to USC's Lily Fairchough, 6-0, 6-4. USC's No. 108 Eryn Cayetano held off UH's No. 3
Nikola Homolkova in straight-sets, 6-1, 6-4. Hawai'i's No. 1
Nelly Knezkova traded blows early with 28th-ranked Grace Piper, but Piper was able to hold off Knezkova by a break in the first set then pull away in the second for the 6-4, 6-2 win. The Trojans clinched the match on the No. 4 court with Lily Fairclough holding off
Hannah Galindo who hung tough, 4-4, 6-3.
The Rainbow Wahine will return home for a Big West match vs. UC Davis on Saturday, March 30. First serve is slated for 11:00 a.m. HT.
