HONOLULU – The newly No. 1-ranked University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team will open Big West play with a two-match series against longtime rival No. 2 Long Beach State, Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, Calif. The Rainbow Warriors (17-1), winners of their last 16 matches, ascended to the top spot this week after winning all three matches in the OUTRIGGER Invitational over the weekend. The Beach (16-1) opened their conference schedule with a pair of victories over UC Santa Barbara last week.
