— In a game with crucial Big West seeding implications, the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team (16-13, 8-9 Big West) and UC Riverside (13-16, 8-9) clash on Saturday, March 2. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. PT/3 p.m. HT at the SRC Arena.
With just one week left in the regular-season, UH, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara are tied for sixth in the Big West standings and each are just a half game behind CSUN for a coveted top-4 seed in the upcoming BIg West Championships.

GAME STORY LINES
- The Rainbow Warriors are coming off a 75-63 loss at UC Davis in which the Aggie backcourt of Elijah Pepper and Ty Johnson combined for 60 points.
- The Highlanders enjoyed a bye on Thursday and are perhaps the hottest team in the conference having won five of their last six games.
- In the first meeting between the teams on Jan. 13, the 'Bows defeated UCR, 63-56, in Honolulu.
- UH seeks the first season sweep by either team since 2014.
- UCR (8.3) and UH (7.9) are the top Big West teams in 3-pointers made per game. UCR also leads the Big West in offensive rebounds (12.5) and least turnovers per game (9.9).
