— The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team looks to take the momentum of its first Big West win of the year into an early-season conference test at CSUN on Saturday, Jan. 6. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. PT/3 p.m. HT at the Premier America Credit Union Arena.

GAME STORY LINES
- The Rainbow Warriors snapped a three-game slide and picked up its first Big West win this year with a 78-67 win at CSU Bakersfield on Thursday.
- UH got a combined 55 points from JoVon McClanahan (19), Justin McKoy (18) and Bernardo da Silva (18) to beat CSUB for the fifth straight time.
- The 'Bows have won five of its last six Big West regular-season road games dating back to last year.
- CSUN has started Big West play 2-0 and its six-game win streak is its longest since 2012-13.The Matadors were idle Thursday following an impressive 84-68 win at LBSU last Saturday.
- CSUN leads the Big West in scoring offense (80.6) and field goal percentage defense (.386) and ranks 8th nationally in rebound margin (12.4).
- This will be the 31st all-time meeting between the teams, with UH winning the last four meetings.
- UH's last two wins in Northridge have come by an average of 24 points, including a 26-point victory last year, which was the team's largest margin of victory ever in a Big West road game.
