— The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team (10-9, 2-5) returns home for a pair of games, beginning with a matchup against UC Santa Barbara (11-7, 4-4) on Thursday, Jan. 25. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

PROMOTIONS
- On Thursday, the Rainbow Warriors will participate in the Coaches vs. Cancer initiative, where coaches will wear sneakers while players will wear various pieces of pink gear. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game.
- Throughout the pregame, the 'Bowhana marketing team will be handing out 600 "I Suit Up For" signs (printed by Obun Hawaii) for fans to write someone in their life who has been affected by cancer. In the second half, at a media timeout, fans will be asked to display their signs to be shown on the video board along with players and coaches.
- Coca-Cola will be the sponsor against UC Santa Barbara and after every made UH three-pointer, the 'Bowhana marketing team will throw out Coca-Cola shirts into the crowd. Various prizes will be awarded throughout the game from Coca-Cola, including a cornhole set, pickleball set, and a couch chair.
- Coca-Cola will feature new Body Armor flavors and samples will be distributed at Gate A.

GAME STORY LINES
- After losing a pair of road games last week, UH has dropped to a tie for eighth in the Big West with a 2-5 league record.
- UC Santa Barbara had a four-game win streak snapped with a home loss to Cal St. Fullerton. The Gauchos now sit in sixth in the Big Wests at 4-4.
- The Gauchos lead the Big West and rank fifth nationally in field goal percentage (.510). They are also the league leader and 15th nationally in 3-point field goal percentage (.390).
- The game will pit UH's third-ranked scoring defense (66.6) versus UCSB's second-ranked scoring offense (78.7).
- The last three meetings between the teams in Honolulu have been decided by an average of 3.7 points, including UCSB's 65-64 win last year.
- Juan Munoz made his first start as a Rainbow Warrior in UH's last game at UC San Diego and responded with a season-high 21 points. Munoz passed 1000 career collegiate points in the game.
