  • On Thursday, UH's head coach Jun Hernandez was named the Big West's coach of the Year for the third time after leading the 'Bows to a 14-7 overall record and a league-best 8-1 mark. It is UH's best record since 2017 when UH went 16-7, and 8-0 in conference.
  • The Rainbow Wahine won 11 of their last 12 matches with the one loss coming in a non-conference match at No. 26 USC
  • Except for the two COVID-shortened years (2020 & '21), UH has recorded double-digit wins for eight-straight years.
  • Hawai'i was in the ITA rankings twice this season coming in at No. 64 on Feb.21 and later No. 67 on April 18
  • Vilcek, who was an all-conference honorable mention awardee in singles last year emerged this season as a force at the top of the lineup. She is 14-5 overall
  • Homolkova earned her second-straight All-BW First Team award. Last year as a freshman, she earned the honor as a member of Long Beach State.
  • Takamura comes into the tournament with a team-best 15-5 overall record and 81 8-1 mark in conference. She was named all-BW second team in singles
  • Although senior transfer Rita Pinto got off to a slow start in singles beginning the season at 1-5 record early, but has since gone 9-3 for the rest of the season. She is 7-5 since finding a home playing at No. 5.
