HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i offensive lineman
Eliki Tanuvasa was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for the third time in his career.
The Honolulu native also earned academic all-district honors in 2021 and '22 and is a three-time Mountain West all-academic honoree. Tanuvasa started all 13 games this season and started 27 times in five seasons with the Rainbow Warriors.
In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) and must have either competed in 90 percent of the team's contests or started in at least 66 percent of the games.
Tanuvasa started his career at Eastern Illinois, where he earned FCS Freshman All-America honors, before transferring to UH in 2019.
