HONOLULU – The Hawai'i track and field program released its 2024 schedule Thursday, made up of five meets during the indoor season and nine during the outdoor season.
The Rainbow Wahine will open the indoor season Jan. 12-13 at the Spokane Indoor Challenge before competing in a pair of meets hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle at the UW Invite (Jan. 26-27) and the Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10).
Postseason competition for the indoor season kicks off at the MPSF Championships, Feb. 25-26 in Spokane, Wash., while the NCAA Indoor Championships are set for Mar. 8-9.
UH will open the outdoor season Mar. 15-16 at the Hornet Invitational hosted by Sacramento State before splitting the squad for a pair of meets at the Mike Fanelli Classic (Mar. 28-30) in San Francisco and the Stanford Invitational (Mar. 29-30).
A trip to Azusa, Calif. for the Bryan Clay Invitational, Apr. 11-13 comes next before UH competes in the OSU High Performance meet, Apr. 26-27 in Corvallis, Ore. UH will then head into conference championship competition starting with the Big West Multis Championships, May 3-4, and the Big West Championships, May 10-11 in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
NCAA postseason action begins May 22-25 with the NCAA West Regionals in Fayetteville, Ark., with those who advance from there moving on to compete in the NCAA Championships, June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
