MALIBU, Calif.—Members of the University of Hawai'i men's tennis team continued action at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on the campus of Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
 
In doubles, UH's Anugs Hill and Cole Kurata fell in the Main Draw Round of 32 to Grand Canyon's Willliam Alsterback and David Wekesa, 8-0.
 
In singles consolation matches, Hawai'i's Andy Hernandez fought his way back to force a third set super tiebreaker against Loyola Marymount's Inigo Diaz. But Diaz held off Hernandez, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 1-0 (3). Three other Rainbow Warriors fell in straight sets as well on Friday.
 
The action continues on Saturday with extra matches in singles.
