IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced three of its final four scheduled telecasts on ESPN linear networks with the Rainbow Warriors slated for another nationally televised game. Hawai'I's Senior Night home finale versus UC Irvine on Saturday, February 25, will air on ESPN2 and will feature two teams that are currently in the race for the top of the conference standings.
Tipoff for the Rainbow Warriors (15-5, 6-2) and Anteaters (13-6, 5-1) has been moved to 5:00 p.m. HT at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. UH went 3-0 earlier this year in a trio of nationally-televised ESPN games in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Hed Classic.
There is one more regular-season Big West game slated to appear on ESPNU, also selected through a "wildcard" format. The final wildcard is set for 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, the final day of conference action prior to the 2023 Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships, presented by the Hawaiian Islands. The Rainbow Warriors play at UC Santa Barbara in that regular-season finale on March 4 in a potential wildcard selection. Pairings are determined and announced at least 10 days prior to each contest.
ESPN Networks will also broadcast both Big West men's semifinal matchups at the 2023 Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships, presented by the Hawaiian Islands on Friday, March 10 and the men's championship game on Saturday, March 11. For additional championship information, please visit
