LOS ANGELES – Both Hawai'i men's divers reached the final of the 3-meter competition while putting up NCAA Zone E scores in the process to lead the way for the UH diving squad on day two at the Bruin Diving Invite Saturday.
Mackaby Pennington finished 11th in the men's 3-meter with a cumulative score of 634.35, highlighted by a 336.65 in the prelims to eclipse the Zone E mark for the second-straight week.
Juan Gonzalez joined Pennington in the final, coming in 13th with a total of 619.25 between the prelims and final. He also reached the Zone E cut for the second-consecutive week, posting a mark of 324.60 in the final.
