HONOLULU – The Hawai'i men's and women's swimming & diving programs released the 2022-23 schedule Thursday, which includes two weekends of home meets at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex in January.
Hawai'i will open its first season under head coach
Michael Stephens Oct. 14-15 at the USC Invitational against a field that includes the Trojans, Auburn and UC San Diego, before heading to the SMU Invite, Nov. 17-19. The 'Bows will wrap up the fall portion of the schedule at the US Open, Nov. 30-Dec. 3 in Greensboro, N.C.
UH will then host its first weekend of meets on Jan. 6 against Air Force and TCU, before hosting the Horned Frogs again for a dual meet on Jan. 13. That same weekend, Hawai'i's divers will head to the Bruin Diving Invite, hosted by UCLA Jan. 13-15.
The 'Bows will then have one final tune-up before the conference championships in Las Vegas, Jan. 27-28, for a meet that includes UNLV, UCSB and Wyoming. After that, Hawai'i heads to the MPSF Championships, Feb. 15-18, in St. George, Utah where the Rainbow Wahine will look for their sixth conference title in the last seven years and the Rainbow Warriors look for their third in the last five years.
After one final chance to earn qualifying times for the postseason at the Georgia Last Chance Meet, Feb. 25-26 in Athens, Ga., the Hawai'i divers open the NCAA competition at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships, March 6-8 in Federal Way, Wash.
The Rainbow Wahine will then conclude their season at the NCAA Women's Championships, March 15-18 in Knoxville, Tenn., while the Rainbow Warriors will head to the NCAA Men's Championships in Minneapolis, Minn., March 22-25.
Additionally, Hawai'i will host a pair of intrasquad meets at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex that will be free and open to the public. The Green & White Meet will be Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 while the 'Bows will have another intrasquad meet on Nov. 5.
