LA QUINTA, Calif. – University of Hawai'i freshman
Pierce Braun carded an even par 72 in Round 2 of the Big West Championship Monday at the La Quinta Country Club.
The Phoenix, Ariz., native currently sit in a tie for 11
th place heading into Tuesday's final round. Braun carded four birdies and four bogeys on his round and is one stroke off the Top 10.
As a team, UH is in eighth place after a second consecutive 300 for a 600 total. UCD continues to the hold the team lead at 10-under 566 followed by Long Beach State (579), CSUN (582), UC Irvine (586), CSU Fullerton (587), Cal Poly (589), UC Riverside (591), UH (600), and UC Santa Barbara (602).
Tyler Ogawa carded a second round 76 and is tied for 25
th at 150. Also competing
for the Warriors are

st).
The third and final round begins on Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT. UH will be paired with UCR and UCSB.
