HONOLULU, O'ahu – The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team will play its first home match of the season, hosting Washington Sunday, Feb. 28 at 11:00 a.m., at the UH Tennis Complex.
The Rainbow Wahine (1-2) continue their schedule after returning from a tough California road trip, where they won one of three matches. UH opened with a 6-1 loss to 17
th-ranked USC before bouncing back the next day with a 7-0 sweep over Big West rival UC Irvine. Hawai'i finished its road trip with a challenging 7-0 loss against San Diego.
Washington is 7-1 after opening the season with an eight-match homestand. The Huskies are coming off a loss to 15
th-ranked Baylor on Sunday. The Huskies are led by their No. 1 player, 74
th-ranked Vanessa Wong, who notched a singles win against Baylor. In doubles, Wong and Sarah-Maude Fortin are the Huskies' No. 1 duo.
For the Rainbow Wahine, several players have a singles win including junior

Nikola Dolakova, have notched UH's only two doubles wins of the season against UC Irvine.
UH and UW have met every year in Honolulu since 2013.
