Fidge was selected to play on the Australian Junior National team to compete in the 2020 world championships (that were canceled due to Covid-19. She was the Most Valuable Player for her South Australia state team at the Australian Junior National Championships in 2020.
Fidge is the latest in Coolen's Aussie pitcher pipeline which includes former UH standouts, Brooke Wilkins, Kelly Gentle, Felicity Witt, Paula Blanning, Justine Smethurst, and most recently, Kaia Parnaby. Overall, she will be the 13th Australian to don the green and white.
"Millie is both an impact pitcher and hitter for her respective teams that she has competed on in Australia. She has been successful at all levels of play in Australia as she continues her development both on the mound and at the plate. We're excited about reconnecting with Australia and look forward to Millie coming into our program in the Fall of 2022."
