GAME DAY INFORMATION FOR FANS
HONOLULU-- The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team will get it first taste of competition ahead of its 2021-22 season with an exhibition game versus Chaminade on Monday, Nov. 1. Tipoff is 7:00 p.m. at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
Monday's exhibition game will be played in front of a limited number of spectators. All tickets for the game are accounted for and eligible season ticket holders have already been contacted by the Ticket Office. Fan capacity restrictions will be lifted on Nov. 3 and UH's regular-season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 10 will be return to full capacity.

Following it's exhibition game versus the Sliverswords, UH will open the regular-season with the Outrigger Rainbow Classic Nov. 10, 11 and 13, joined by UH Hilo, Northern Colorado and Pacific.

NEWS & NOTES
- The Rainbow Warriors will be playing in front of fans, albeit limited, for the first time since Feb. 29, 2020, a 49-43 loss to UC Riverside. UH played its entire 2020-21 home slate devoid of fans. Per covid guidelines, 500 tickets were available for this Monday's matches.
- UH returns two starters and eight letterwinners from last year's squad that went 11-10 overall and finished sixth (9-9) in the Big West regular-season.
- Among the returnees is senior wing Samuta Avea who opted out of the 2020-21 season. The native of Hau'ula, O'ahu started all 25 games and was second on the team in scoring (10.8 ppg) in the season prior.
- UH also returns Junior Madut who earned all-Big West honorable mention last season. The junior guard averaged 10.5 points and 4.2 rebounds and let the team in field goal attempts (200), three-point field goal attempts (98), steals (23) and total minutes played (629).
- UH lost its top three scorers from last year with the departure of Justin Webster (12.3 ppg), James Jean-Marie (12.2)., and Casdon Jardine (10.9) who all-earned Big West honorable mention.
- However, the 'Bows have restocked with six newcomers this year - three Division I transfers, one junior college transfer, and two prep players.
- The Division I transfers - Jerome Desrosiers (Princeton), Kamaka Hepa (Texas), and Juan Munoz (Longwood) have a combined 228 games of collegiate experience.
- UH fields one of the most geographically diverse squads in the NCAA with players from six time zones (Alaska, Hawai'i, Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern) and five foreign countries (Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada and Slovenia).
- Hawai'i will play in three preseason tournaments. UH hosts the Outrigger Rainbow Classic (Nov. 10, 11, 13) and Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic (Dec. 22, 23, 25) and will travel to the mainland for the Las Vegas Classic (Nov. 25-26).
