Major League Baseball's abbreviated 60-game 2020 regular season has come to a historic end with sights now set on the largest MLB Postseason field in history. For the first time in MLB history, the top two teams from each division earned a spot in the postseason and the two teams with the next best record in their respective leagues got the two Wild Card spots. For Hawaii baseball alumni Kolten Wong and Greg Garcia, their teams each finished second in their divisions and will face off against each other in the Wild Card Round of the postseason.
The Padres are making their first postseason appearance since 2006, and the Cardinals are back in the postseason for the second year in a row.
Garcia and San Diego will host Wong and St. Louis in a best-of-three series in San Diego, Calif.
