TEMPE, Ariz.—For the fifth-straight year the University of Hawai'i women's tennis has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Associations All-Academic Team. In addition, all 10 members of the team—Nikola Dolakova, Rebecca Ehn, Anna Kalabukhova, Madison Kim, Bojana Markovic, Petra Melounova, Michelle Pits, Lea Romain, Sophia Storch, and Satsuki Takamura—all earned ITA Scholar-Athlete awards individually. It marked the first time that UH's entire women's team has earned scholar-athlete honors for Hawai'i.
 
Pits became just the third Rainbow Wahine to have earned the Scholar-Athlete award for all four years of her collegiate career, joining Alzbeta Houbova (2016-19) and Martina Kostalova (2012-15).  For both Dolakova and Melounova, it marked the third time that each garned the academic achievement while it was the second time that Storch
 
The Rainbow Wahine has earned the ITA All-Academic Team a total of 10 times (2002, '05, '09, '10, '11, '16. '17, '18, '19, and '20). Since 1983, the women's team has had 96 players earn ITA Scholar-Athlete awards.
 
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements:

• have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and
• be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements:

• have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale),
• all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and
• all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
