HONOLULU—As announced by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation on Tuesday, 26 student-athletes from the University of Hawai'i swimming and diving team are members of the 2019-20 All-Academic Team.
UH surpassed last year's total of 23, while the men's team edged out the women's with 15 total selections. The Rainbow Warriors tallied more members than any other male squad in the conference. Combined, UH narrowly missed out on the top spot as Brigham Young University finished with 27 members on the All-Academic team.
To be named to the all-academic squad, a student-athlete must have competed in over 50 percent of the season's events, completed at least one full year at their institution, be a sophomore academically, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
