Game Notes-

• UH enters the Big West Conference portion of its schedule at 6-7, suffering back-to-back losses to Idaho and Pennsylvania to close out 2019.

• Each of the losses had UH scoring 55 points or less; a defensive feat only performed twice before against UH this season. To date, UH is 1-6 on the year when scoring less than 60 points.

• When the 'Bows are clicking, it can be contributed to the defensive end, as UH ranks #1 in the Big West for both scoring defense and three-point field percentage defense. As a result, they're 5-0 when holding opponents to 50 points or less.

• Even though the scoring distribution has been dealt out to six different leading scorers over 13 games, junior forward Amy Atwell has been a steady contributor. Atwell has led the team in scoring six times this season and averages a team-best 11.3 points a game.

• Traditionally the all-time series against both CSUN and UC Davis are as close as it comes with UH. The 'Bows and Matadors are knotted up at 9-9, while the Aggies have a slight advantage at 10-9.  The 'Bows have not beaten UCD in a traditional road game since Jan. 22, 2015.

2019 WAS FUN AND MEMORABLE IN THE BIG WEST
Entering the 2018-19 season, UH was picked by both the media and the coaches in the middle of the pack in the preseason standings at No. 5 and No. 6. The predicted finish was thrown out the window as the 'Bows rocketed to No. 2 with a 10-6 record, and was the only team besides UC Davis to not be swept on the season as UH was the only squad in the conference to knock off the Aggies in 2018-19. In the 2019-20 polls, the 'Bows were picked at No. 4 in both, leaving the door open for another surprise in back-to-back seasons.

THE FUTURE IS STRONG IN NAE NAE'S HANDS
The impact of a freshman can be both welcoming and frustrating, but in terms of Nae Nae Calhoun, it has been more on the positive side. Calhoun ranks No. 5 in the conference with a 1.44 turnover ratio and is the only freshman to rank in the top 10 of the category.
