Game Notes
- The University of Hawaiʻi baseball team will host Pac-12 opponent Oregon for a four-game set at Les Murakami Stadium. The series includes single games March 7-10.
- Hawaiʻi has won five games in a row and is 6-2 since the opening series versus Portland.
- Entering the week, freshman Scotty Scott ranks 10th in the nation with two triples, while redshirt junior pitcher Dylan Thomas is 13th in strikeouts per nine innings (15.92), and 48th in total strikeouts (23).
- UH is 13-17 in the all-time series versus Oregon dating back to the first meeting in 1978. The last 24 meetings between the two sides have been at Les Murakami Stadium. Â The Rainbow Warriors are 7-17 versus the Ducks in games played at Les Murakami Stadium and 12-17 overall versus Oregon in games played in Honolulu. Oregon has won 14 of the last 15 meetings between the two sides. The Ducks are making their first trip to Honolulu since 2015.
- Oregon, which is coming off a Tuesday loss to Portland, is 7-3 on the season after going 26-29 a year ago.
