COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A record 24 University of Hawai'i student-athletes were recognized by the Mountain West as academic all-conference Wednesday.
Among those recognized was a four-time honoree
Noah Borden (LS) while
Zeno Choi (DL),
Tevarua Eldridge (DL),
Solomon Matautia (LB),
Kaimana Padello (DL), and
Ben Scruton (DB) were three-time recipients.
Receiving the award for the second time were
Stan Gaudion (P),
J.R. Hensley (OL),
Kalen Hicks (DB),
Ryan Meskell (PK), and
Taaga Tuulima (OL).
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
The UH contingent was among a league-record 703 student-athletes honored by the Mountain West.
