Seven Football Games Slated For National Broadcast

HONOLULU – Seven University of Hawai'i football games will air nationally this season, highlighted by a a half-dozen network broadcasts split evenly between The CW and FOX Networks as well as a season-opening matchup on the ACC Network.

The Rainbow Warriors will kick off their national television slate on the road against Stanford on Saturday, Aug. 29, at 1:00 p.m. HT on ACCN. It will be the third season-opening matchup between the team in the last four years.

UH will be featured on The CW three times during the 2026 season. The home national television slate kicks off in Week 1 against UNLV on Sept. 5 at 4:00 p.m. HT. The Rainbow Warriors will also appear on The CW for their Sept. 26 road game at Wyoming (9:00 a.m. HT) and a Nov. 14 home contest against North Dakota State (6:00 p.m. HT).

Meanwhile, three games have been selected by FOX Networks. Hawai'i will host New Mexico on Oct. 17 and the Rainbow Warriors will close out their national television road slate on FOX with trips to UTEP on Nov. 7 and Nevada on Nov. 21. Final network designations and kick times for the three FOX Networks games will be confirmed at a later date.

The Mountain West Football Championship Game will be nationally televised on FOX for the seventh consecutive season. The game is slated for Friday, Dec. 4. 

In addition to the national broadcast slate, four Hawai'i games have been selected for broadcast on MW+. Local broadcast information regarding those games as well as details for UH's road game at Arizona State on Oct. 10 will be released at a future date.

Notes
  • UH will host three national TV games in 2026 (UNLV, New Mexico, North Dakota State), a year after playing just one home national TV game.
  • Hawai'i will face Stanford for the third time in four years, having previously played them in 2023 and 2025. The Rainbow Warriors broke a 15-game national television losing streak last season by defeating the Cardinal, 23-20, on CBS.
  • The season opener at Stanford will mark Hawai'i's first-ever appearance on the ACC Network (ACCN).
  • UH and UNLV will meet on national television for the third straight year (2024 on CBS Sports Network, 2025 on FS1, and 2026 on The CW).
  • Hawai'i will return to The CW for the first time since Oct. 19, 2024, when they played on the road against Washington State.
