Justin Ngan was picked as the Big West Conference's Men's Golfer of the Month for November after his performance at the Kā'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
Ngan was the highest finisher among Big West teams at the tournament with a 4-under 209 total to tie for 36
thplace overall. The Wailuku, Maui native posted rounds of 71, 66, and 72 to finish one stroke ahead of UC Santa Barbara's Matt Moomjian for the highest Big West finisher.
The 209 total was Ngan's career-best score and his 5-under 66 in Round 2 was also a career-low. The junior posted 12 birdies over the three rounds to the lead the Rainbow Warriors to an 18
th place finish at the event.
UH will open the spring season by hosting the Amer Ari Invitational, Feb. 6-8 at the Waikoloa Kings Course on Hawai'i Island.
