Petra Melounova became the first Rainbow Wahine to compete in the Saint Francis Health System/ITA All-American Championships' Main Draw on Wednesday at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Center and the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Okla..
Weather altered Wednesday's Main Draw schedule. Vanderbilt's 15-ranked and the 13
th-seeded Christina Rosca defeated Melounova in straight sets. Melounova kept things close in the first set, falling by just a break. But in the second set, Rosca pulled away for the win, 6-4, 6-2.
Melounova will compete in the consolation round on Thursday.
