KAPOLEI, O'ahu - For the second day in a row, junior
Tyra Tonkham led the University of Hawai'i women's golf team at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational with a 2-under round of 70 on Tuesday at the Kapolei Golf Club. The Arleta, Calif., native moved up to fifth place in the individual standings after her four-birdie day.
Tonkham moved up one spot on the leaderboard with her score of 70 and remains three shots off the leader from Big West Conference foe, Cal Poly. The Mustangs' leader Caroline Cantaly posted a round-best 65 with seven birdies.
Sophomore
Haruka Shintani improved her first-round score by two shots and moved up the standings with a round of 73. Junior
Sahara Washington also improved on her score from Monday with a second-round 74. Seniors
Megan Ratcliffe (79, t-58th) and
Malia Ebersberger (80, 64th) rounded out the 'Bows' scorers for round two.

Zoey Akagi-Bustin posted scores of 81 and 84, respectively.
Cal Poly (575) jumped up five spots in the team standings with an 11-under par score of 277 on the day and holds a three-stroke advantage over Sacramento State (578) after two rounds.
Ebersberger will once again tee off first for Hawai'i at 7:30 a.m. HT.
