HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team (6-4, 2-2 Big West) has a tough week ahead as it takes on No. 7 Illinois (12-2, 3-1 Big Ten) to conclude a seven-match home stand before heading to the mainland to battle No. 26 Stanford (7-3, 3-0 PAC-12).

Roxanne Resma won all their matches last week. Playing on the No. 3 court, Hruba defeated Pacific's Anna Ramos Vinolas, 6-3, 6-3 and Fullerton's Karla Portalatin, 6-3, 6-2. Resma cruised past Pacific's Yuki Asami, 6-1, 6-2 and CSF's Masako Makiba, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 6 in singles. Hruba and partner

Overall,
Michelle Pits leads UH with an overall singles record of 10-6. She is 6-3 in dual matches mostly playing on the No. 5 court. Resma is second on the team with a 9-8 overall record while posting a 6-2 dual match record. UH's No. 1 Melounova is 8-3 overall, while going 6-3 in duals.
