SEATTLE – The University of Hawai'i track and field team concluded the first meet of this week's competition at Dempsey Indoor on Saturday with the final day of the Husky Classic.
A stalwart performer for Hawai'i this Indoor season, sophomore
Lily Lowe topped all performers with another win in the high jump. Earning her third straight win at the facility, Lowe reached 5-08.50 (1.74m) and made solid headway toward reaching 1.84m.

Tatiana Desender locked in a new personal best in the 400m preliminaries at 58.48, vaulting her to fifth on the UH all-time top 10 list for the event.
Making her first Indoor appearance for the Rainbow Wahine, redshirt junior
Karen Bulger tossed 42-07.50 (12.99m) in the shot put for a team-leading career best to finish 25th and jump to ninth on the UH all-time top 10. Freshman
Meg Jackson made her first career appearance, tossing 38-09.75 (11.83m) in the shot and 36-09.00 (11.20m) in the weight throw..
The Rainbow Wahine finish off a twinbill weekend on Sunday at Dempsey Indoor with the UW Open, beginning at 7:00 a.m. HT (9:00 a.m. PT) with the weight throw and 60m hurdles.
