Rainbow Classic Notables
  • UH is 90-65 (.581) all-time in the Classic.
  • UH has won the tournament on 15 occasions with the most recent title coming last year.
  • This will be Portland's third appearance (2-4; 1966, 2001) in the tournament, North Texas' second (2-1, 1967) and the first Rainbow Classic appearance for Humboldt State.
  • UH is 8-1 in the Rainbow Classic under Eran Ganot.
General Notes
  • UH received 15 votes in the CollegeInsider.com preseason midmajor poll.
  • UH is 29-18 in season-openers since 1969.
  • UH has lost just once in its last nine season openers.
  • UH has defeated Portland in the last three meetings with the last matchup in the 2011 CIT Postseason Tournament. UH won 76-64 in Honolulu.
