HONOLULU--The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team continued action in their annual Weinman Foundation Invitational tournament on Sunday afternoon at the UH Tennis Complex. After about a two-and-a-half hour rain delay. The Rainbow Wahine finally took to the courts where they captured two doubles and two singles matches against players from Texas A&M.

In doubles, UH's duo of Nikola Dolakova and Klara Pribylova won their fourth straight doubles match, knocked off TAMU's Riley McQuaid and Macarena Olivares, 6-3. UH's pair of Marina Hruba and Alzbeta Houbova picked up their second win of the tourney together as they held off the Aggies' Dorthea Faa-Hviding and Iulia Ivascu by a break, 6-4.

Hawai'i freshman Taylor Lau earned her first collegiate victory in singles as she blanked Texas A&M's Ivascu, 6-0, 6-0, while Roxanne Resma evened her singles record to 2-2 with a hard-fought 6-4, 6-4 win over Faa-Hviding. UH's Michelle Pits' match against McQuaid, which was in the third set, went unfinished due to another rainfall. That match will be concluded on Monday.

The five-day Weinman Foundation Invitational comes to a close on Monday with matches beginning at 9:00 a.m.
